After graduating from Wheaton College with a double major in math and economics, John joined the financial services industry in 1996. He worked with H&R Block Financial Advisors for nine years and became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Charterholder) in 2004. John joined Wachovia Securities in 2005 and two years later became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. In 2009, Wachovia Securities became Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC.

John became an independent Financial Advisor through Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network and founded Jacobian Wealth Advisory in 2019.  John works with individuals to help manage their household’s wealth.  This incorporates their goals, time horizon, and level of comfort with different investment strategies, as well as tax ramifications*, and market conditions.

John currently coaches soccer through Kopion and teaches chess at Madison Elementary.  A Raleigh, North Carolina native, he enjoys playing chess, soccer, and snowboarding.  He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Wheaton with their children: Trenton, Julie, Jay and Collin.

    Sandra “Sandy” Clark is an experienced Branch Administrative Associate specializing in client contact and administrative duties. Sandy is a critical component of the Jacobian Wealth Advisory team; she manages everything from scheduling client meetings to client communication and daily branch operations. Sandy excels at ensuring operations are running smoothly to maximize client satisfaction. Our clients entrust Sandy to fulfill their needs, answer questions, and maintain consistent communication.

    Background
    Before Sandy joined the Jacobian Wealth Advisory team, she held numerous positions at various financial institutions, including Mutual of New York, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo Advisors. From the time she entered the financial services industry, Sandy loved engaging with clients. She makes it a priority to get to know all our clients personally so she can effectively assist them with their needs.

    About Sandra
    Outside the office, Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and grandchildren. Some of her hobbies include knitting, watching football and baseball, traveling with her husband, and volunteering at her church. Sandy volunteers in the Children’s Department of her church several times each month. She enjoys being around the children and watching them grow and develop.
